Large Secondary School, Surrey
...The committee were very positive about using a supplier of Fairtrade cotton garments......The (Koolskools) cotton polo sample was very well received at the meeting last night, I had taken one of our current ones too so the better styling spoke for itself... I took your sample polo to the PTA meeting and there was universal approval - the garment sold itself... there may be slightly cheaper school polos on the market but they have elicited complaints from parents in the past because they lack the obvious robustness of your garment...

Major Hampshire Fairtrade Secondary School
...The meeting went well I thought! (Mrs X) seemed impressed with the concept, the two men were really nice and put their vision forward well. I think the bit that was best recieved was about the "education" that goes with the project (e.g. skype links with the farmers etc). I think a few govenors learnt a lot about Fairtrade! They brought in a great sample of a white polo with the logo on it (think Head Teacher would like this) and were very enthusiastic...
...KoolSkools seemed very flexible on ordering/who keeps hold of the stock which was good, so I don't really see how it can't go ahead now...
...Went well I thought! Both guys were very good at presenting clearly - which you'd expect as it is their job! - but I thought they covered the points thoroughly enough but not so much it was boring which is a tough thing to do when trying to show that you're ethical, price-viable, good quality and more...
...Student A and I introduced them and explained how it had come about to give a background to it which I think did put it in perspective and help just to clarify why they were here - because of students (ie students' interest in Fairtrade)...
