Fairtrade Cotton Clothing and School Uniform
Koolskools is so much more than a traditional school clothing supplier. We work alongside schools in a fully interactive educational partnership so that everyone can learn more about Fairtrade
Koolskools is the brainchild of Hampshire businessmen Mike Trodd and Andy Ashcroft.
Mike and Andy share the same business values, and are passionate that Koolskools should bring benefits to both clients and producers/manufacturers alike:
They strongly believe in fair trading. They are both committed to providing good, honest service and quality at a competitive price. While wanting to offer schools and parents, colleges, charities, corporates and the market at large a wider choice, Mike and Andy also want to support the workers' communities where the clothing is being manufactured.
Koolskools were delighted, recently, to become a registered licensee of the Fairtrade Foundation, which means that we can supply products made with Fairtrade certified cotton. This is a significant boost to the company's unstinting efforts to be fair and ethical in all we do, meaning that the small-scale cotton farmers in developing countries who grow our cotton are getting a better deal from trade.

Mike has been involved with Hampshire community cricket, rugby and hockey for many years, and has been able to develop his community involvement since taking on the sports shop Holt and Haskell in 2006. Holt and Haskell have an active and on-going programme of support and sponsorship of local schools, colleges, and sports clubs.
